I haven't been to the Eaton Centre in what seems to be years.

Just recently I paid the old dame a visit and I remembered immediately the white-knuckle spiralling drive to the indoor parking lot (luckily, major construction is taking place to upgrade) and I'm happy to report prices in this sprawling shopping emporium are excellent.

We popped into the new Spring shoe store near the familiar fountain in the south of the Centre.

The place was just hopping with deals and the latest designs, and the staff was terrific.

Those pretty ballet slipper-type shoes for only $40, hair accessories for under $7, purses for $25, plus an excellent selection of men's shoes from formal to casual.
